Inside GameOn GPS Lab: Our First Steps in Player Performance Tracking

Three GPS vests, real match sessions and an early look at performance intelligence in Kenyan women’s football.

GameOn Collective has begun exploring GPS performance tracking as part of its wider football data initiative.

The early-stage project currently involves three athletes and three GPS tracking vests.

Verified match measurements include distance covered, maximum speed, acceleration and player workload.

The purpose of this initial work is to develop experience in collecting, reviewing and presenting performance data responsibly.

GPS Lab remains a developing project. Additional measurements and sessions will be included as they are verified.
